Rebekah Box

Marketing & Design Manager

Rebekah is Athlete Assessments’ Marketing and Design Manager. She is responsible for overseeing all communications and materials that come through the pipeline. Graduating from the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) with a Bachelor of Journalism, majoring in visual design and communications, her strengths lie on both the written and visual sides. Passionate about people, she thrives off building connections and being in a dynamic environment, which sees her role vary heavily day to day.

She is passionate about delivering high quality content and works closely with every member of the Team8 team to coordinate all marketing and design outputs. She’s responsible for making sure our content hits your device exactly how you need it to and that our marketing is meaningful and relevant. She is also heavily involved in program design and delivery for our clients, working on projects of all sizes.

Fun Fact

Rebekah lived in Papua New Guinea for the first four years of her life and shares her birthday with their independence day. Talk about fate! (And imagine the surprise when she moved back to Australia and there weren't any fireworks or national celebrations held for her birthday!)

Mim Haigh

Digital Writer

When Mim Haigh joined our team in 2017, she tasked herself with writing crisp and direct content. The kind of articles, webpages, and resources that would carry our voice and deliver meaningful outputs every time. Mim brings to our team the benefit of an abundance of professional, athletic, and life experiences. Professionally, Mim has written for some of Australia’s most iconic organizations and events, including the Sydney Olympics and Sydney’s New Year’s Eve Celebrations. Academically, she has a degree in Humanities and is currently studying for a postgraduate degree in Communications and Journalism. As an undergraduate she held a scholarship at The Women’s College of The University of Sydney, one of Australia’s oldest and most prestigious universities.

In 2007 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and within four years lost the functional use of her arms and legs, but her determination rings through. She works, raises a family, and manages a team of ten support staff, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Her exceptional ability to write is highly valued and her phenomenal approach to life is inspirational.

Fun Fact

Mim is a giggler. If she knows the punchline of a joke, you can guarantee that no one else will because she will be too busy laughing to tell you the joke. Sleep is not a priority when it comes to telling herself funny stories at night.

Max Purssey

Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant

Looking for the department that puts the creative flair in our suite of tools to get the best performance out of your people? Then you would be looking for our Marketing department, and sitting in the middle of that department is Max. Graduating from Queensland University of Technology in Creative Industries, majoring in interactive and visual designs, Max, our Graphic Designer and Marketing Assistant joined us in February 2022. Max has a keen eye for detail and an ability to drive modern design, conceptualising intuitive and innovative ideas, that produce results exhibiting depth and aesthetic integrity. We were extremely selective when it came to choosing who we recruited to sit in Max’s chair, not only for technical ability but because our people are our primary focus, and they keep our culture alive. Around the office we love Max’s positive attitude, he approaches every opportunity with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and we just know he will deliver!

Fun Fact

When he was 8 years old, he won best and fairest for his rugby team at Brothers Rugby Club. In doing so, he received a trophy and signed copy of John Eales autobiography from the legend himself.

Temika Smith

Assistant Client Manager & Office Administration

Temika is passionate about helping people be the best versions of themselves; a commitment which lines up perfectly with our philosophy here at Team8. Joining our team in early 2022 as Assistant Client Manager and Office Administrator, Temika connects with clients and helps all of our team carry out their diverse roles. In everything she does, Temika’s style is most accurately described as ‘best for the team’. She brings her graduate spirit, dedication to performance, and enthusiasm. (She’s also super organized, compassionate, and creative – think murals and walls that take you places where there are no walls). Temika graduated with First Class Honors in a Bachelor of Psychological Sciences from the University of Queensland in 2021.

Fun Fact

Temika has big love for card and board games and even has a room specifically dedicated for games when friends and family visit!

Kate von Euw

Junior Design & Marketing Assistant

A bubbly and passionate people-person, Kate brings a supportive and conscientious spirit to her role as Junior Design and Marketing Assistant. As a soon to be QUT graduate in both Design and Marketing, Kate is responsible for creating a range of design materials that align with the branding, image, and values of our clients. Making things look pretty and professional? That’s her jam! In addition to her design assistance, Kate also aids in the production of marketing activities such as SEO writing, and digital development. With an eye for detail, there’s nothing Kate loves more than a creative challenge (except perhaps a to-do list, or smashed avo – can’t beat it!)

Words Kate lives by: “Maybe it’s a little cliché but, aspire to inspire!”

Fun Fact

Kate was born in Bülach, Switzerland, hence her slightly funky last name and love for all things cheese and chocolate!
